Convened by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 2022, the Lambeth Conference was an international meeting of Anglican bishops. The conference discussed church and world affairs and the global mission of the Anglican Communion for the decade ahead.

The conference theme is ‘God’s Church for God’s World – walking, listening and witnessing together.’ The conference explored what it means for the Anglican Communion to be responsive to the needs of a 21st Century world.* See Lambeth conference for more information

One of the needs of the 21st century is eradicating global hunger. Our solution is our Aquaponics program.

Our Desmond Tutu Program to End Global Hunger aims to bring sustainable aquaponics greenhouses to underserved communities to promote job training, increase educational opportunities, and help resolve food insecurity.

We partnered with Archbishops and Dioceses who want to show support for our aquaponics program. These partnerships and pledges of support show major sources and philanthropists the want and benefit of the aquaponics program.

Your pledge of support will help us acquire funding which we will then use to build greenhouses starting with the areas that need it the most. The funding will cover the cost of the building materials, paying contract workers, and covering the cost of sending representatives to teach the new facilities about aquaponics agribusiness, and plant/fish care.

The greenhouses and all related costs will be of no cost to the diocese. We will teach them everything they need to know about how to run the business.

Show your support in helping to end Global Hunger

In keeping with the 2022 Lambeth Conference theme of “God’s Church for God’s World”, we, as representatives of Provinces and Dioceses of the worldwide Anglican Communion, support the development of the Desmond Tutu Program to End Global Hunger. We further support efforts being made to gift this program to our Diocese and Provinces as Fresh Ministries and the Anglican Communion address the serious challenges presented to humanity by hunger, economic developments and climate change.
