Bishop Koshy is very passionate about growing vegetables and teaching his local community about sustainable farming. Bishop Koshy incorporates aquaculture practices with traditional farming. On his farmland, he raises hundreds of fish using pond culture. He is then able to take this nutrient-rich water and use it as fertilizer for the plants he grows in soil. The vegetables he grows provide healthy meals for members of his community. Bishop Koshy has been awarded the Diocesan Level Green Parsonage Award by the Kerala State Agricultural Minister for his great work!
